New Anna, The Dendrobium orchid (Den-Do-Beam) is the genus of the orchid family. Founded in 1779 by Peter Olof Swartz, the Swedish word comes from the Greek word. “Dendron” (tree) and “bios” (life) and refers to organisms that live on other plants. The Dendrobium is an orchid that has the Pseudobulb. When the stem grows, they will sprout in a new trunk and groups. The leaves are alternately arranged with flowers. 1 inflorescence has 6-8 alternately arranged in 1 petal with 5, purple petals.
