Vanda are monopodial orchids, known for their large flowers with striking colors. As an epiphytic orchid native to Southeast Asia, Vanda are grown in hanging pots and require a high moisture content so that its overlying aerial roots are filled with nutrients. They flourish with temperatures of 20 ° to 25 ° C during the day and 15 ° to 18 ° C at night. It is important for their survival that night temperatures are cooler.
